Doug Crouse
Doug Crouse is a physician mortgage specialist with BMO Harris Bank. He obtained his business degree from Park University with emphases in Finance and Management.
He is married to the owner of Financial Residency, Dr. Tammy Crouse, and lived through the struggles of residency with her, so he empathizes with what physicians go through to become an attending.
He feels that he is uniquely qualified to help physicians and their families secure their biggest investment – their homes. He has witnessed physicians being taken advantage of by less-than-honest lenders, so he has made it a point to provide his best counsel and advice to all physicians and even counsels them to go elsewhere in certain cases when he is not the best choice.
He authored “Hippocratic House: Do No Harm When Purchasing Your First Physician Home” with his wife in 2021. He gives away this 200-page book for free at www.DougCrouse.com.
He started his podcast The Mortgage Minute in 2022. He understands that physicians spent their 20s learning medicine, not banking or finance, so he strives to teach them some of the basics of obtaining a mortgage and understanding the industry jargon in short, focused sessions.
He joined the Financial Residency Speakers Bureau in 2023 and is available to speak at no cost to residency/fellowship programs or physician practices on any topic of their choosing. He is always available to answer questions for physicians. You can reach out to him at Doug.Crouse@BMO.com or 862-375-6267 (862-DR-LOANS).
Daniel Wrenne
Daniel loves helping people use their finances to live better lives.
By day, he works as a financial planner for physicians. Ultimately, he wants to live a life worth imitating and help others do the same.
Above all, he values his faith in Christ and his family. Most of his spare time involves wrestling his boys Noah, Henry, and Andrew, coaching soccer, and spending time with his wife Alison.
It should also be noted he has a pretty serious hot sauce obsession.
Jon Appino

Mr. Appino obtained a BS in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics with a Pre-med focus but after deciding on a business career over medicine he spent the next 12 years working in both large and small scale Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies in multiple roles as well as start-ups in the healthcare field.
He completed his MBA in 2004 and launched his most recent company and passion – Contract Diagnostics, in 2011. He is passionate about the education of Physicians with regard to the non-clinical (business) aspects of medicine.
