Doug Crouse

Doug Crouse

Doug Crouse is a physician mortgage specialist with BMO Harris Bank. He obtained his business degree from Park University with emphases in Finance and Management.

He is married to the owner of Financial Residency, Dr. Tammy Crouse, and lived through the struggles of residency with her, so he empathizes with what physicians go through to become an attending.

He feels that he is uniquely qualified to help physicians and their families secure their biggest investment – their homes. He has witnessed physicians being taken advantage of by less-than-honest lenders, so he has made it a point to provide his best counsel and advice to all physicians and even counsels them to go elsewhere in certain cases when he is not the best choice.

He authored “Hippocratic House: Do No Harm When Purchasing Your First Physician Home” with his wife in 2021. He gives away this 200-page book for free at www.DougCrouse.com.

He started his podcast The Mortgage Minute in 2022. He understands that physicians spent their 20s learning medicine, not banking or finance, so he strives to teach them some of the basics of obtaining a mortgage and understanding the industry jargon in short, focused sessions.

He joined the Financial Residency Speakers Bureau in 2023 and is available to speak at no cost to residency/fellowship programs or physician practices on any topic of their choosing. He is always available to answer questions for physicians. You can reach out to him at Doug.Crouse@BMO.com or 862-375-6267 (862-DR-LOANS).
